ALL PARTICIPANTS SHALL ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING RULES:

  1. Bowlers will be required to show their USBC cards and possible show I.D. Tournament certified by USBC. Bowlers not sanctioned can purchase unattached membership card for $21.00

  2. Handicap will be 90% of the difference between your average and 210.

  3. Entering Average: Bowlers must use their highest 2007-2008 USBC yearbook average of 30 games or more. If no yearbook average, highest final average of at least 30 games for 2007/2008. If no 2007/2008 average you must use your highest average of the 2008-2009 winter season for at least 30 games as of January 1, 2009. If no 2008 - 2009 average, you must bowl scratch. USBC Rule 310-A (2) ten pin rule, average as of January 1, 2009 will apply for this tournament. No YABA or Summer League average will be allowed.

  4. Only one PBA Member allowed per team.

  5. Prize fund returned 100% on a ratio of at least 1 for each 10 entries.

  6. Re-entries are unlimited, but you can only place once in the main prize list with the same partner.

  7. Rule 319c. The average of a bowler may be adjusted upward before participation in any event. If the assigned average is not accepted by the bowler, the entry fee shall be refunded.

  8. Rules 319-D and 319-E USBC will apply to men and women. All bowlers shall submit for re-rating if, during the preceding 12 month period:
    a.    A bowler who has qualified for a prize of $600 or more in any event in a tournament within the previous 12 month period must report his/her actual score, position and amount won to the tournament management at time of entry in a handicap or classified tournament for possible re-rating.
    NOTE: All bowlers with an average less than 210 must comply with the provisions of Rule 319d.
    b.    He/She is responsible for keeping a record of the names, dates, scores, and prize winnings in all tournaments entered in the previous 12 months, including those still running. These include sanctioned and unsanctioned scores bowled in accordance with the game of American tenpins.
    c.    Failure to comply with any of these provisions, or using the adjusted average, shall be caused to forfeit tournament entry fee and prize winnings.
    d.    His/Her accumulated average in all, but not less than 21, tournament games exceeds such entering average by 12 or more pins.

  9. Average Verification: "It will be the responsibility of each bowler to submit a verified average postmarked no later than March 16, 2009, seven days after closing of the tournament." Bring verification at time you bowl for faster payoff.
    a.    Bowler having 210 average or more does not need to verify average.

  10. Failure to use proper average shall disqualify score if submitted average is lower than actual average thereby resulting in a lower classification or more handicap. Prize winnings shall be based upon the submitted average if its higher than the actual average, rule USBC 319-A (3).

  11. Corrections in averages can be made up to the completion of the first game of a series, or within 48 hours after the completion of a series if the tournament management, prior to the completion of the first game, has given written consent to the bowler authorizing such extension to correct average.

  12. Entries close at 7:30 PM, Sunday, March 8, 2009.

  13. Bowl 3 games on same pair of lanes. Tournament Manager has the right to move bowlers due to mechanical failure at his discretion. NO REFUNDS.

  14. ANY CHECK WRITTEN FOR AN ENTRY OR ENTRIES THAT IS RETURNED FOR ANY REASON WILL DISQUALIFY THAT ENTRY OR ENTRIES.

  15. USBC Rule 13 unmarried grade and high school student participation will apply.

  16. Any rules not covered above will be governed by USBC.

  17. No profanity or abuse of equipment. 1st time: warning. 2nd time: entry disqualified.

  18. One (1) lane courtesy.
