 TOURNAMENT RULES
 PLEASE BRING YEARBOOK OR CURRENT
 AVERAGE VERIFICATION AS OF APRIL 23, 2008

1. USBC rules and regulations will govern this tournament. All bowlers must have a valid USBC membership card. Cards can be purchased on site.

2. This tournament will be open to men and women. A team shall be two men, two women or a man and woman.

3. Handicap shall be based on 80% of 210 for men and 90% of 210 for women. Entrants will use their highest league average based on a minimum of 42 games for the 2006/2007 season. If no average last year, you may use highest average as of April 23, 2008 (42 games or more). All others bowl scratch. Minimum avg. (for handicap) shall be 140 for women, 155 for men.  The 10 pin rule (319a (2) is waived.

4. All participants should be familiar with rule 319e pertaining to averages. This rule will be strictly enforced and apply to all participants. It is the individual responsibility.

5. It shall be each bowler's responsibility to verify the accuracy of his or her average, whether originally submitted by the bowler, team captain, or other. Failure to use proper average or make corrections up to completion of first game of the tournament shall disqualify score.  If submitted average is lower than actual average, or prize winnings will be based on submitted average, if it is higher.

6. Any participant who has won $500.00 or more in any event or tournament during the pervious 12 months must report actual score, position and amount won to tournament office prior to bowling.

7. An individual may enter the tournament as many times as he or she wishes, but can place only once with the same partner.

8. Multiple participation will be allowed.  You may bowl with no more than three (3) double partners per shift. Second and Third entries $25.00 per person.

9. The tournament directors reserve the right to accept or reject any or all entries and decide on all questions or disputes arising in this tournament and the decision of the tournament directors shall be final unless an appeal is made in accordance with rule 329.

10. No full PBA members allowed.

11. Prize ratio will be one prize for each 10 entries.

12. In case of a tie for first place, in any event, CO-champions will be declared, when ties occur the prize money will be combined and divided equally among the tied position winners.

13. Entries close 10:00p.m. June 8,  2008. Re-entries will be accepted until the beginning of the last squad on June 8, 2008.

14. Bowlers shall bowl three games on one pair of lanes. Lane assignments made by tournament officials. Maximum 3 consecutive times on same set of lanes.

15. Tournament games cannot be re-bowled, except as allowed by the tournament manager, when scores are irretrievable lost in automatic scoring device.

16. Prize money returned 100%.

17. Reserved entries will be accepted, but not required. No entry will be accepted without entry fee. Returned checks will encounter a fee of $30.00.

18. Premature termination of the tournament brought about by war, national emergency or emergency causes relating thereto or there from, fire, natural disaster or any other reason beyond the control of the Strawberry Bowl Tournament shall cause, to the extent required thereby, all advertised prizes, guaranteed or otherwise, to be prorated in accordance with the number of entrants who have bowled up to the time of such termination.

19. Holiday Bowl Fun Center employees and Tournament Officials will be eligible to bowl in the tournament.

20. Prize list and prize checks will be mailed within 45 days of the closing for the tournament.
