Executive Entertainment Tournament Rules
1. ELIGIBILITY: Tournament will consist of 3 people team event; doubles with optional singles open to all current USBC members. All participants are required to show their USBC cards upon check-in. This tournament is certified by USBC and is governed by USBC rules. Eligible non-members may enter by purchasing a USBC unattached membership card.
2. Participation: Multiple participations will be permitted in each event. Participants may cash more than once in the team and doubles event provided there is at least one different member changed in each event. A bowler may cash only once in the optional singles event. Teams will consist of 3 person of any gender bowling 3 games on the same pair of lanes. Doubles can be any combination bowling 3 games on the same pair of lanes. If a bowler enters the optional singles, scores from their doubles scores will count toward their singles. No bowler will be able to bowl just singles without bowling doubles.
3. Re-Entries: Re-entries are for those bowlers that have a reserved entry in by the reserved entry deadline. Re-entries will be permitted in any event. Re-entry must be in at least 1 hour before the squad starts.
4. Averages: Bowlers will use a composite average of the past 3 bowling seasons: highest sanctioned winter league book average for the 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2006-07 season based on 21 or more games. Bowlers must have an average for two of the three previous seasons averages. If a bowler do not have an average of 21 or more games for two of the past three winter seasons then they would have to bowl scratch (210).
5. USBC Rules 319a2 (10 pin rule), USBC rule 319c (re-rating) and USBC rule 319d (reporting winnings) will not apply. USBC rule 319a3 (average verification) will be enforced.
6. Handicap: Handicap will be 90% of 210 for women and 80% 0f 210 for men.
7. Reservations: Reserved entries will close midnight March 9,2007. Entries must be accompanied with a certified check or money order for the full entry fees. The tournament director reserves the right to refuse any entry. Any protest of the tournament, its rules or eligibility must be made in writing to the tournament director prior to disbursement of tournament prize monies.
8. Additional Squads: Additional squads may be added during the tournament but no squads will be added after 2PM on Sunday, April 6, 2007.
9. Prizes: Prize money will be returned 100%. Prize money in each event will be paid at least one place out of every eight entries (1:8 ratio). Prize money will be paid within 30 days after the completion of the final squad unless there is a protest.
10. Premature Termination: Premature termination of the tournament brought about by war, national emergency, or emergency causes relating thereto or there from, fire, national disaster, or any other reason beyond the control of the tournament officials shall cause, to the extent required thereby, all advertised prizes, guaranteed or otherwise, to be pro-rated in accordance with the number of entrants who have bowled in each of the respective events up to the time of such termination.
